Snack Dragon on Orchard Street in the Lower East Side.

Snack Dragon served great #tacos for a good price and unfortunately closed over the winter. Their other location on East 3rd Street closed in November 2014 after the owner tripled the rent on the small 100 square-foot space to $3,900 a month. We loved their unique #sign with all of its quirky #typography.
We are leading a Store Front walking tour of the East Village and Lower East Side on Sunday, April 26th at 2pm sponsored by the Municipal Arts Society of New York. @mas_nyc The cost is $20/$15 Members. We will visit some of the remarkable #momandpop #storefronts documented in our book "Store Front: The Disappearing Face of New York" and "New York Nights" and remember those that have disappeared. We will stop in many culinary specialty stores and sample #food.
