Waverly Restaurant on the corner of Waverly Place and 6th Ave was founded in 1979 by Nick Serafis and is now run by the 2nd-generation family members including his daughter, Angela.
We love its neon signage and it’s delicious food including classic diner options as well as some Greek specialties.
Today, we stopped by this Greenwich Village old-school diner with our dog Hudson and enjoyed a late lunch in its outdoor seating area. The staff was so friendly and the food we had including homemade minestrone soup 🥣 grilled cheese sandwich and French fries was delicious.
