Kaufman's Army & Navy on West 42nd Street near 8th Ave opposite the Port Authority Bus Terminal was founded in 1938 and is one of the oldest military supply stores in the U.S. 🇺🇸 and the oldest in NYC. We love their handpainted signage which the owner told us was commissioned by his mother during the height of the Vietnam War.

• Yesterday, during our architectural tour of west 42nd Street, we visited @kaufmans_armynavynyc and purchased an authentic World War II dog tag customized while we waited for our rescue dog Hudson @hudsonpittienyc as well as a few other fabulous items.
