We not only loved its pies 🥧 and chocolate marble cake but also the reverse channel #neonsign it had with its unique #script font.

Interestingly, the Estate of James Yancey used our photo of Jay Dee Bakery for the 12” first press clear vinyl release of J Dilla’s long lost vocal track (that had never before been released), “Give Them What They Want”.
