Today the sun ☀️ was shining brightly in New York City after a very rainy weekend and our thoughts went to Sunny Gift Shop in the Bronx.

We fell in love with this #storefront because of its beautiful weather-worn #handpainted sign and its great variety of colorful items on display in its window. This photo taken in 2004 with 35mm film appears in our book “Store Front: The Disappearing Face of New York”
