Tacombi at Fonda NoLita on Elizabeth Street was founded as a taqueria serving out tacos out of a converted 1963 VW Kombi bus on the Yucatán peninsula (the bus is now parked inside the space) before landing in New York City & opening this physical #storefront location in 2010.
