We visited Union Square Greenmarket in our latest YouTube video (Full video:
https://youtu.be/pvM0twjONfg) and we couldn't help but notice the shuttered iconic Coffee Shop on the west side of Union Square, which was sadly forced to close last year after nearly 30 years in business due to a high rent increase and rising expenses. It was just confirmed that a Chase Bank branch will be moving into the space along with another location of the fast-casual vegan spot by CHLOE.
The large overhanging #neonsign “COFFEE SHOP BAR” still remains and we hope that the new tenants preserve this #neon gem!
