Les Halles, a French Brasserie on Park Avenue South was in business for over 25 years before it closed in March 2016.

We are posting our photo of this restaurant in memory of Anthony Bourdain, as this is the restaurant where he got his start in the industry and worked as an executive chef. We always loved the historic building from 1930 that Les Halles was located in which still had the name Foltis-Fischer (a former restaurant chain). Les Halles became the fodder for Anthony’s breakout hit memoir “Kitchen Confidential”. R.I.P. Anthony Bourdain.
