We are extremely honored to receive The Greenwich Village Society For Historic Preservation 2015 Regina Kellerman Award! Thank you to the selection committee and all involved in this great organization. GVSHP will present its 25th Annual Village Awards this year at their Annual Meeting on Wednesday, June 17th, 2015 in recognition of those people, places, and organizations which make a significant contribution to the quality of life in Greenwich Village, the East Village, and NoHo.
Regina Kellerman was the first executive director of the Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation and a founder of the organization. She later served as a Trustee and then as a member of the Preservation Committee and Board of Advisors. Her research for “The Architecture of the Greenwich Village Waterfront” formed the groundwork for the later designation of several historic districts in Greenwich Village, including the Greenwich Village Historic District Extension and the Weehawken Street Historic District. She served on the GVSHP’s Preservation Committee until her death in May of 2008.
The award ceremony is free and open to the public. RSVP: Call (212)475-9585 ext.35 or email rsvp@gvshp.org
