Peter McManus Cafe was established in 1936 and has the distinction of being the oldest bar in New York City which has been in continuous ownership by the same family since its founding. This historic Irish bar is located on the corner of 7th Ave & 19th Street in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan.

One of the many unique features of Peter McManus Cafe is that it has stained-glass windows in its facade which were made by the famous Tiffany company in NYC and also has Tiffany stained-glass behind the bar. It is also one of the few bars in NYC with two original phone booths.
