Alphabet Scoop, East Village, NYC

We visited with our dog Hudson, Alphabet Scoop on East 11th street to try some of their delicious homemade flavors of ice cream. Alphabet Scoop is not just an ordinary ice cream shop, it is a nonprofit through Father’s Heart Ministries program, mentoring the neighborhood youths through a job training program whose mission, like their ice cream, is sweet and simple, “Changing Lives one Scoop at a Time”.

We had two of Alphabet Scoop top selling flavors, Cookie Dough (on left in photo) and Razzle Dazzle (top photo) which is comprised of White Chocolate Ice Cream Swirled with Rich Raspberry Topping and Mini Chocolate Raspberry Truffles. Both were extra extra good and one of the best things was speaking with Robbie and one of his mentors, Tegan (bottom photo) about their mission and how they created these delicious flavors.

• To watch our visit to this amazing ice cream 🍨 shop and to hear more about its mission to help teens in the community, please watch & subscribe to our JamesandKarla YouTube channel, see direct link below & in bio and IG story.
