Golden Rule Liquors, West Village NYC - Free "Store Front II-A History Preserved" book discussion/slide-show

Golden Rule Liquors in the West Village was established in 1934 after the national Prohibition of alcohol ended in the United States. The gorgeous ‪#‎neonsign‬ is original and the owner told us that it was installed in 1934. We also love its beautiful window display and the ‪#‎handpainted‬ ‪#‎signage‬ in their window. Photo from 2010 and full interview appear in our newly released book "Store Front II-A History Preserved".

To see and hear more about amazing small ‪#‎momandpop‬ stores like this please join us for a free "Store Front II-A History Preserved" book discussion/slide-show of photographs on Tuesday April 19th at the Sixth Street Community Center from 6:30-8:00 pm, 638 East 6th Street between Avenue B and Avenue C. The event is sponsored by the Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation (GVSHP). The event is free but to attend please RSVP via email to: RSVP@GVSHP.org or call (212)475-9585 x35 ‪#‎storefront‬ ‪#‎type‬ ‪#‎typevstime‬ ‪#‎typography‬ ‪
