Paul’s Da Burger Joint on Second Avenue near St. Mark’s Place in the East Village has been family-owned since 1989 and serves a 1/2 pound burger that is so thick that it requires a metal dome to be placed on top during cooking on the griddle. The neon in the window states that Paul’s has NYC’s Best Burger and we couldn’t agree more! Burgers are also cooked to order with a variety of specialty toppings including various cheese types like cheddar, monterey jack or mozzarella, and bacon, chili, and mushrooms. The prices are a bargain compared with other restaurants and we encourage you to support this small business!
