In our #NYCPROTESTS FOR CHANGE: PEACEFUL DEMONSTRATION NEAR UNION SQUARE TURNED INTO CLASHES WITH POLICE we watch as the peaceful protest for change on East 14th Street near Union Square in New York City on November 4, 2020, turned into clashes between protesters and police, leading to 58 arrests. Police used the tactic known as kettling to contain the protesters and keep them on the sidewalks versus the streets.
