Although we are not fans of chain stores in NYC and instead always highlight and support “mom-and-pop” stores in our daily life and on our feed, we were happy to see the amazing street art which was painted on the boarded-up #storefront of this 7-11 store in Manhattan.

In our latest YouTube video, BEST NEW YORK STREET ART & GRAFFITI: RECLAIMING SOHO & BOWERY AFTER THE RIOT, we walk with our dog during, Hudson, around the streets of SoHo and the Bowery to see all the messages of love, unity, optimism and healing which were painted on the boarded-up storefronts in the aftermath of the riots which took place in #NYC on the evenings of May 31 to June 2, 2020.

We also were fortunate enough to see a number of #graffitiartist and street artists still at work painting on the many wood “canvases” of boarded-up shops.

The 7-11 is a great part of the project @Bringing_Back_Bowery. It is about community. The mural was done by @vkron.mmm .
