In this episode we visit some of our favorite independently owned shops including Yonah Schimmel Knish Bakery. Although technically located on the Lower East Side as it is located on the south side of East Houston Street which is considered the border of the East Village neighborhood, we still included it in our video as we absolutely love their freshly-baked #knishes. This historic bakery has been in business since 1910 and retains much of its original interior.
