We start the day with a visit to the iconic Economy Candy on Rivington Street, which specializes in old-fashioned candies 🍭🍬chocolates🍫, nuts 🥜 and dried fruits. @economycandy was founded in 1937 by the Cohen family. The interior is stocked from floor to ceiling with hard-to-find nostalgia-type candy including brands that you never knew were still in production. •
