Bailey’s Corner Pub on York Avenue in the Upper East Side has been in business since the early 1950s and is one of the “under-the-radar” neighborhood gems we included in our book, “Great Bars of New York City”.
The back bar is believed to have been constructed in the early 1900s and once sat in a restaurant across the street from Bailey’s.
Let us know if you have visited Bailey’s and seen its gorgeous wooden bar.
