Paris Shoe

To continue our highlight of storefronts which had gorgeous “lobby” entranceways flanked with beautifully decorated shop windows, we are sharing our 35mm film photo of Paris Shoe Store on Manhattan Avenue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. This shoe store also had a wonderful terrazzo floor that extended to the “lobby” and a great vintage sign with letters which became a bit askew with age. Does anyone remember this old-school gem with the best customer service including measuring your foot for proper shoe fitting with a Brannock device which measures three important features of your foot: length, width, and arch length. Let us know if you also remember getting your foot measured with one of these devices.
