We just got back from a short trip to Philadelphia, which although there are hamburger spots in Philly, the city is better known for its cheesesteaks!
We visited a few #momandpopshop cheesesteak places and wanted to highlight one of our favorites, Jim’s South Street, as it not only has a gorgeous Art Deco #storefront but also has an amazingly delicious #cheesesteak made with 100% Black Angus beef 🥩.
Jim’s Steaks was founded in 1939 in West Philadelphia but in the summer of 1976, the current South Street location opened and is now currently being run by the 2nd-generation owner, Ken Silver. •
