Sevilla Restaurant in Greenwich Village was founded it 1941 and is the oldest Spanish restaurant in NYC.

This family-owned restaurant serves amazing seafood paella 🥘 and sangria and earned the prestigious James Beard America’s Classics award in 2015. We were worried when we passed by Sevilla numerous times during the pandemic in 2020 and found it closed, even when outdoor dining was instituted in New York City. However we have great news to share that @sevilla_restaurant has reopened with limited capacity indoor dining and outdoor dining. We couldn’t be happier and look forward to visiting soon to help support this lovely mom-and-pop (well in this case owned by two brothers) restaurant.
