The Famous Cozy Soup ‘N’ Burger, Greenwich Village, NYC

The Famous Cozy Soup ‘N’ Burger šŸ” on Broadway near 8th Street in Greenwich Village has been in business since 1972 and the menu has stayed pretty much the same except for the addition of some health-conscious items. Sadly our friend @newyorknico told us that this family-owned diner is struggling to survive the Coronavirus pandemic lockdown despite having a dedicated outdoor dining area. Our night photo of @thefamouscozysoupnburger with its neon sign aglow is from 2009 & appears in our book “New York Nights” along with a preface written by @newyorknico ‘s father @thedailyheller

• WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT to help save another historic neon sign at the family-owned NYC music school/shop, Palomba Academy of Music, which was forced to close after 64 years in business due to the Coronavirus pandemic shutdown. We are currently filming a documentary about Palomba Academy of Music and our efforts to save its historic neon sign.

• To find out more about our Kickstarter campaign (which ends in less than 23 hours) to help save the iconic neon sign and the great rewards you can receive for backing our project including signed copies of our NEW YORK NIGHTS & STORE FRONT Mini books  & prints, please visit the link below or direct link in story & our bio. Every $1 helps!: http://kck.st/33J4CRY
