Fishs Eddy in the Flatiron District is known for its affordable and sometimes #vintage dishware with quirky designs.

The shop was founded in 1986 when the owners Julie Gaines and David Lenovitz stumbled upon a small hamlet in upstate NY, named Fish’s Eddy, and discovered an old barn that had stockpiled restaurant dishware that had survived a fire. They purchased and brought all the soot-covered plates, bowls, platters and cups back to NYC, cleaned them and sold them at their newly opened store.
