Today we visited Jennifer Prezioso, the fourth-generation owner of Albanese Meats & Poultry shop on Elizabeth Street in NoLita. If you are looking for a great family-owned butcher shop to order your Thanksgiving Turkey
from or purchase other varieties of poultry or fresh cuts of meat 
, we highly recommend visiting @moethebutcher where everything is hand selected and cut by Jen herself. Jen learned the trade from her grandfather Moe Albanese (R.I.P), whose family founded the business in 1923 when Elizabeth Street was lined with Italian-owned businesses. Our lucky dog Hudson (seen in the video) is now patiently waiting for his marrow bone 
that Jen gifted him as an early Thanksgiving present!
