It was founded in 1993 by @urbanspacenyc Eldon Scott & is modeled after Christkindlmarkts in Germany. It features independent vendors and artisans who are all individually selected to mark sure that there are varied offerings. Applicants are even personally interviewed and asked to provide samples of merchandise before being selected.
