We were saddened to hear the news on @queenscomfort IG feed that this amazing brunch spot on 30th Avenue in Astoria, Queens just permanently closed after over 9 years in business due to “the financial strain of operating with limited outdoor dining” due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Owner, Donald D’Alessio is looking for a new space to reopen in the future but in the meantime you can still support by donating to their GoFundMe page which can be easily found as a direct link in their bio. We will miss his chick n’ waffles and definitely hope that he brings the “Home Sweet Home” neon with him when he reopens!
