We just heard the sad news that Bob Plotnick, of Bleecker Bob’s Records passed away.

Bleecker Bob’s Records was founded by Bob Plotnick in 1967 and was was one of the first places in the late 1970s to sell albums by #punk bands. Bleecker Bob’s Records was forced to close in 2013 after their rent was raised from $10,000 a month to $20,000 a month.
