Miss Wakefield Diner in Sabornville, NH.

This #vintage diner was built by the O’ Mahoney Diner Company in Elizabeth, New Jersey in 1949. The company whose motto was “we lead the world” made around 2,000 diners from 1917 to 1952. They were prefabricated in the factory and then trucked to their destination. This #diner car started its life in Albany, NY and was originally called Pat & Bob’s Diner. It was rescued from a junkyard and trucked to New Hampshire in 1991. We are glad to have discovered it since only 20 of these O’ Mahoney Diner cars are in existence today. If you plan to visit, please note that Miss Wakefield is only open for breakfast 🥞 🍳and lunch 🍔🍟🥪as it closes at 3pm daily.
