This book takes readers on a journey through New York City’s iconic record shops, celebrating their history, character, and cultural significance. Featuring stunning new photographs by James and Karla Murray, it captures the vibrant exteriors, intimate interiors, and countless musical treasures that make these shops special.
Their critically acclaimed books include STORE FRONT NYC: Photographs of the City’s Independent Shops, Past and Present, Great Bars of New York City, Store Front: The Disappearing Face of New York, New York Nights, Store Front II- A History Preserved and Broken Windows-Graffiti NYC.
