Chez Napoléon, the classic old-school French restaurant located on West 50th Street in the Theater District of Manhattan is sadly permanently closing its doors tomorrow Saturday, January 31st after 65 years in business.

We are saddened to share the news that Barbetta, the historic Italian restaurant in the Theater District, has lost its longtime owner, Laura Maioglio, who recently passed away at the age of 93.

Nathan’s Famous, with its roots dating back to 1916, when it first opened as a hot dog 🌭 stand on Surf Avenue in Coney Island, was just sold for $450 million in an all-cash transaction to Smithfield Foods.

Jan’s Hobby Shop on the Upper East Side was one of the last shops in Manhattan which specialized in selling miniature boats, planes, cars, robots, as well as arts and crafts kits of every theme.
